211 services are coming to the Lower Mainland!

We've changed! The Information Services Vancouver Society has officially become the 211 British Columbia Services Society. Our agency name is now BC211. Like its predecessor, BC211 is incorporated under the BC Society Act and is a CRA registered charity. BC211 will carry out all of the programs and services formerly provided by Information Services Vancouver, and our mission and commitment to excellence remain unchanged. We've also changed our web address to www.bc211.ca, and all visitors to our old address will automatically be redirected. Please update your bookmarls accordingly!

Great News: 211 is launched!
BC211 is very pleased to announce that 211 services are now available! 211 is an easy to remember three-digit number that will connect callers to free information about community, social and government services. Thanks to funding from the United Way, residents will be able to access live Information and Referral Specialists who listen to callers' issues, help assess their needs and refer them to the most appropriate services and programs in their area.
